Every year Ducks Unlimited through their
Greenwings Project sponsors a project for the young anglers to enjoy...the 1998
project was the building of one of three types of bird houses...the 1999 project
will be birdfeeders...each child will have the opportunity to build a feeder and
take it home courtesy of Ducks Unlimited. |

The Annual Family Fishing Derby is a fun for the whole family from
the youngest angler to the oldest angler...her a grandfather is enjoying the day
with his granddaughter...no one is ever to old to be reminded of how much fun it
is to fish enjoy childhood. |

What would a fishing experience be without good food to eat...thanks to the
sponsorship of local merchants FFFES and DU is able to offer a feast for the
anglers...lots of free hotdogs, drink and ice-cream. Here we see Dennis and Al
handing out the ice cream |

With out the hard work and dedication of Dennis Whitbread and his crew this event would not be the success it is...They spend a great deal of time planning and contacting sponsors to make sure that no child goes home with out a prize...Here is the crew taking a well deserved rest.... |
